Ontario Society of Artists
I just found out I got elected to the Ontario Society of Artists! That is pretty cool, they are the oldest artist society in the country.
Founded in 1872, the Ontario Society of Artists is Canada’s longest continuing art society. They are a professional association for visual artists living and working across the Province. Their mandate is to foster and promote the visual arts through exhibitions, publications and arts advocacy. Each year they present exhibitions of works by members, and a juried art exhibition open to all artists working in two and three dimensional media.
This opens up a whole new area of exhibitions for me.
